I believe what Craig means is that instead of a create account / login full page ad, it would be nice if 1st time visitors arrived on the latest tab so they can see discussion. I agree with that idea.

Yes and if they want to post, like, comments, they would have to sign up/in. I like the idea but Im sure there is a valid reason why it's not like that.

Someone could make a public Twetch viewer. Could even charge people to make a link public? I think it would require a look at the Twetch API and then just making a page/t/[txid] route such that the txid would pull the data and display nicely.

Made a (very buggy) twetch client for my hometown. It's public.
