Aside: I don't get #branching. Would someone please explain the logic? Thanks!

Here’s my take. If someone has 200 followers, and branches someone’s post that has 2 followers. That post will be on their feed. Then, all those 200 followers will have access to your post, which in turn brings u $ and potential followers.

In addition to @1673 every subsequent like and reply pays the one who branched, as well as the original poster.

It is analogous to revenue sharing with someone's post because you gave them exposure they otherwise would not have had.

Thank you!

That makes sense. Is it useful to link together your own threads?

You can reply to yourself to subsidize your own posts, (i.e. your own Twitter thread).

Replying to your own post pays the OP 1 cent, but since the OP is yourself you are only paying half the cost to post to Twetch for each addition to your thread.

It’s like a paid RT

When I reply to a post with a reference to a branch of *this* ... I'm creating loops ...
