Most Art communities that start out to advise, critique and support other artists, fall prey to social algorithms promoting constant posting & getting “likes”...There has to be some way to make it work.

It is a conundrum. I like being part of supportive artist communities but to be honest we are not each other's best clients or customers.
Hey SD, I think Art being such a consumer item, Instead of cultural artifact is a big part of the problem. But attention spans (mine included) have gone to shit. No one spends time actually LOOKING at art and pondering it.
