I’m in Texas. I use Coinbase or Gemini to buy btc. Send to rock wallet and convert. All of them require kyc to buy or swap in my experience.
You might try to buy directly on Rock Wallet. It’s my bank that stops the payment from going through to them unless I call them each time. Still have to kyc.
why not go through BCH instead of BTC?

Well that’s true… I was doing this all before the fees went crazy.. like in 2022. I just wrote what worked for me.
