Does anyone feel this too?
When I'm on holiday, I have a wellness mindset: I do everything that make me feel good. Hiking, exploring, fun with friends.
When I'm at home I have the problem mindset: My focus becomes everything I want to fix or improve.

The second set is way more stressful because it feels like I'm at work constantly: First I'm at work at my actual job for 7-8 hrs, then all the spare time is working on stuff I need to improve or fix. It turns into constant work. That stresses me out.
Everyone manages to balance their life, but I don't know what percentage of spare time they use for fixing stuff, vs the spare time they use for just having fun.
I feel a sense of duty to myself to fix and improve an unending list of stuff.
Yes, I think it’s also linked to sleep. When I’m on holiday I get 8-9 hours every night and I feel focused and energise and very happy. At home I get about 5-6 and feel kinda cloudy most days. The main reason I need to adjust my work schedule.
I'm 40. I'll let you know when i have work/life balance figured out.
Sometimes the things you feel need to be fixed weren't actually broken to begin with. Examine the relationship you have with success and failure, then go from there.
I'm getting there too soon enough, buddy. Lemme know what work/play ratio works for you 😂!!
There must be science to the madness!
Wow why do you sleep so little at home?
When I get too busy at work I just prioritise sleeping, exercising, being healthy, and that leaves me little time to think about actual happiness.
I get up at 6am everyday. I can’t sleep till after 11-12pm so meh.
Try to keep your house dark in the evenings, and also resolve anything on your mind or heart. It helps me.
