Has anyone ever looked into how other bitcoin wallets have done HD multi-signature in the past? Copay would likely have used the BIP45 approach. What approach did other wallets do? Is the Electrum approach the standard? -- rt12

Even copay seems to have dropped BIP45 for new multi-signature wallets. When they do use it, they say they use a fixed cosigner index which kind of defeats the purpose of using BIP45 to begin with. -- rt12
