Has anyone else noticed that, when you like someone's post you pay 5 cents and they only get 4?
The platform is taking 20% out of every transaction. That's worse than sales tax!

Why would you think that the way to pay people would be to do microtransactions?
I assumed that they'd just run ads, and pay the people who were bringing in ad money.
Or use spare computational resources on the devices running the browser.
I assumed that it was at least partially the second one. I figured that that's why it pays out in crypto.
Holy shit, my half-formed thought of what these guys were doing is a better idea than what they are actually doing.
