Anyone else know that feeling when an old crypto acquaintance whos big into core-coin emails out of the blue and asks how's it going? And you have to tell him you've gone down the bsv rabbit-hole and understand the world in a whole different way? 😳

I lost one of my best friends over it 😕

Recently a good friend of mine messaged me asking about a Bitcoin wallet, I arranged a call with him and we spoke for a good 1 hour +.

We didn't speak about wallets, but rather about BTC, BCH and BSV and what more closely resembles Bitcoin.

If he had already bought a lot of X, Y or Z then it would have been a different talk as there would be an element of the sunken cost fallacy.

As a result it was a positive and productive chat, which raised a few red flags for him.

Right, nicely put. I would add there's also the 'sunken cost of reputation' issue since many have invested big career moves on BTC and/or alts. Personally, I never held on so tight that is was hard to let go of. Travel light, you get further.

Reputation is a huge factor, and friendship too. No one likes to make a nice group of friends only to ostracise oneself because of their own views.

I can see the attraction of rather going with the group, it's a hard feeling to properly express.
