from this perspective, the blog is not something the blogger constructs. it is something audience constructs.

related: what if we flip the equation. the threads are not the raw material whose destiny is a blog post. that is the old way. this isn't graph writing. this isn't future. what if the blog post or the draft is a map (of quotes) for navigating the threads. the threads are not in service of the post but the post is in service of the threads and continued threading.

the graph isn't for making the posts/drafts/books. these are in service of understanding the graph.
the graph is larger than the sum of it's parts and any draft will have to be a reduction of that.
