They put all their faith in the network effect, which is ultimately the miners, which ultimately they hate 😅. This is going to be terrible for those putting their life savings in BTC.
The irony? They made miners a necessary part of effecting a transaction in BTC thanks to Peter Todd's brain child, RBF. If it weren't for that, BTC would only have the loss of digital sigs chain against it. RBF made every miner a payment service provider.
