I always backup my mnemonics well. Except, with moneybutton I made the mistake of not writing it to the usual place. I actually have no idea where it is so I consider it lost. So then I forgot my moneybutton password and had to reset it..

Little did I know that this creates a new wallet. There are two ways to recover the old wallet, either with the mnemonic, or with the old password. So I had neiher.. my God I never lost coins this way. So I kept guessing my old password for over an hour..
..and then I finally got the right one. Phew! Not that there was a lot of money in the wallet, but I imagine 10 years from now it would anyway buy at least a car, and it would be forever there for me to see.. but yeah, crisis averted and lesson learned..
