Satoshi’s pseudonymity was his greatest strength. Bitcoin is what matters. Craig is imperfect, frustrating and human. His ideas, however, are eternal.
As soon as people realize that they can be the center of the network, Craig ceases to matter.

I'd love to see any proof that he ever claimed that article was him demonstrating he was satoshi by signing a message. I'm sure you will find plenty articles and twitter posts debunking it. It's a giant strawman.

Thanks for your honest and good-faith answer. Yes, doing something that “proves” he’s a fraud while not actually proving anything would be a good way to take heat off. I do remember stuff along the lines of “at least a fraud can see his family”.

I can't claim to understand the pressure of a guy being sued for 500,000 bitcoins and hate from a bunch of rich, dark web folks. Regardless of his story, he has an immense weight on his shoulders.

He reused a signature, but implied he was signing something else, but it’s actually a 4d chess headfake because he never claimed to be signing the new message digest. I do get it. You’re mad because I said what he wants people to say, essentially

Not sure about that, but maybe he did not provide signature because he wants doubt. There could be some hidden puzzle/hash signature somehow within the blog that would be revealed some day, or maybe some clever people found an Easter egg already in it.
