Let's get this trending on Twetch as many people can benefit from such a masterpiece. I will like every comment that is not spam.
& the sequel will only happen if enough people are financially supporting the blu-ray release, which they should do !
Twetch ·
what's your favorite scene or quote from the movie ? really like this one:
Dr. Dyson Ido: "This is just your body. It's not bad or good. That part's up to you."
Twetch ·
“Science, in all its greatness, is still subject to human creativity. It starts the first moment a child tries to reach up and grab at the clouds. Soon, the child learns that his own hands cannot reach the sky...
Twetch ·
...but his hands are not the limit of his potential. For the human brain observes, considers, understands, and adapts. Locked within the mind is infinite possibility.”
― Yukito Kishiro, creator of Alita Battle Angel
Twetch ·
Battle Angel Alita, called GUNNM in Japan, is a science-fiction manga series created by Yukito Kishiro in 1991. The plot centers on a female cyborg named Alita whose only memories of her past are her mastery of the cyborg martial art known as Panzer Kunst.
Twetch ·
twitter is totally on fire with Alita right now : twitter.com/search?q=alita&src=typd
Twetch ·
"Bruce Lee was ever present during my training"
Alita demonstrates moves in Muay Thai and kung fu, and twice she shows off “chain punching,” a cyclic motion of jabs characteristic of the Chinese discipline, Wing Chun, that Bruce Lee studied under Ip Man.
Twetch ·
Awesome. I’ll check this out. Sounds like a possible movie Daniel Krawsiz will give a teaching on!
Twetch ·
In the story of Battle Angel Alita, Panzer Kunst is the first martial art to anticipate combat in zero gravity, and it originiates on Mars. It is the fighting style that Alita uses in the story, it is nearly extinct and a dying art
Twetch ·
Throughout her five months of grueling preparation for the role, Salazar tells Inverse she studied none other than Bruce Lee to inhabit the body and spirit of a warrior. “He was brought up a lot,” she says, “He was ever present during my training.”
Twetch ·
In the film Panzer Kunst is a combination of various martial arts including staff work and sword work, Kung Fu, Muay Thai and Kickboxing.
Twetch ·
@Liam thank you ! you will love it
Excellent idea about Daniel Krawsiz, I am sure he will be fascinated by both the movie and the cult it has started ! I will @ him on twitter
Twetch ·
There’s much discussion about Alita’s large eyes, something James Cameron preserved in his earliest character design from Kishiro.
“We’ve seen manga and anime with large eyes, but we’ve never seen it photorealistic before” Rodriguez explained.
Twetch ·
Alita was one of the rare movies shot in native 3D (usually the 3D is added in post prod)
"Jim Cameron and I had always been big 3D proponents, because it's a true vision of the future. I mean, it's really so detailed and seen, heard, larger-than-life"
Twetch ·
@Wolf I hope BSV apps can help you afford it very soon !
Twetch ·
Wow trailers are awesome, sad to say but I can't afford it atm my handle is $bsvguyy maybe I might manage to get it, guys
Twetch ·
Thanks so much ♥
Twetch ·
Oh you put it in your Twetch name ? I was just talking about doing a twetch about it ! get a like
Twetch ·
I love you passion for this, I feel it too, an amazing and underappreciated story. It has some much depth.
Twetch ·
I think one of my favorite scenes was when Grewishka defeated her and staring into the face of Death she responds, "Fuck your mercy!"
Even at the highest stakes she held on to her principles and did what she could to continue fighting.
Twetch ·
@Henry I love that scene,
thanks for the compliment, I am doing my best to share the passion & the energy. We will get a sequel ! this is just too valuable to stop here!
Twetch ·
I sometime think that Alita would the Ayn Rand story hero if she had been into sci-fi comics
Twetch ·
And... we are the #1 trending twetch in top feed at the moment !
was a lot of work but definitely worth it
Twetch ·
When the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences recently asked its social media followers what film demands watching on the big screen, an overwhelming response flooded the organization’s Twitter feed for one unexpected movie — “Alita: Battle Angel.”
Twetch ·
Yep, I quite liked it. Went well. Wish they didn't shoehorn in the racing plot though, it kinda wasn't meant to appear until a later novel. Didn't leave enough room for the main story or characters.
Twetch ·
@Devar I think the sequel will allow them to develop the main story and characters more now that it has caught public attention.
Twetch ·
@Devar thanks for sharing ! I think they wanted to make sure it had enough action packed in. I have read the comics yet so I cannot compare but I just bought them and cannot wait for reading them
Twetch ·
You can also buy it on Movies Anywhere. It will add movie to all your libraries (YouTube, iTunes, Xbox, etc) with single purchase. https://moviesanywhere.com/movie/alita-battle-angel-2019
Twetch ·
i did not see the movie but i loved the manga,
it's time to go for it
Twetch ·
@Jefferson As far as Hollywood interpretations go, it's the new gold standard. It's not perfect, but as a fan of the manga, it's pretty close.
Twetch ·
Followed top twetch recomendation, was not disappointed 👍
Twetch ·
@druu I did not know that service, it sounds great
@jefferson I have yet to read the manga but all the people I talked to that have, say it's one of the best adaptations they have seen
@Henry cannot wait to receive &read the manga!
@Flor glad you liked it!
Twetch ·
i just wathed it and it's a great movie ;)
Twetch ·
the more they push, the more they rush their fall
Twetch ·
experts reviews are faked by the corrupt media too !
just check rottentomatoes for example (all others are the same):
"Critics Consensus : 61%"
"Audience Score: 94%"

Twetch ·
@Jefferson glad you like it !
the media are trying to destroy the movie because it does not fit their narrative. Just type "alita alt-rigth" on google and see for yourself !
Twetch ·
why the corrupt media hates Alita so much : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eFxsVqffCg
Twetch ·
100% agree. That's why we do not stand by in the presence of evil ! ;)
Twetch ·
I really don't give a shit what they think, story of my life ^^
all they manage to do is awaking people faster than we could
