Can treechat post be shared in other social apps?

the little url icon in the top right of each message copies the url for that message so you can quote it in treechat and paste it in other apps

Has pruning been resolved yet?

no. it will come to a head at some point and we will have to engineer around it maybe with a do not prune flag/fee for miners or mirroring on ipfs. how to handle this will be a big debate in bsv bc there is disagreement whether the chain should be used as a reliable data layer

Make sure to give some notice before you start pruning data, to give users a chance to export their Treechat data so they can still access their older Treechat data without indexing the blockchain themselves

treechat data wouldnt get pruned. treechat would actually keep it and would be your backup... the miners would prune it onchain

I think what's more likely is that miners will charge for an access fee for on-chain data. Why delete data when you can charge for it? Sure, they may not keep the data readily accessible on HDD's or SSD's and it may be on tape storage, but it's likely that as long as data technology keeps improving, miners will find a way to retain all data

i agree, this is the flag/fee do-not-prune scenario
