What about native ads?

I see the internet improving with Bitcoin but I doubt it will be totally ad free.

There are some great ad blockers out there - I have been living bank free, ad-free, and in general "free" for many years.

If I were to do a screen cast, people would wonder where the ads are.

Blocking ads from view is not the same as saying the web is ad free.

Email will never be spam free, but the spam filters and blockers will get better and better.
Same goes for ads. What I am saying is that I need not wait, skip, or any other kind of waste of time. I am way less frustrated since killing ads.

It can't be, unless the intention is to stop even word-of-mouth advertising. "Hey X is pretty cool you should get one" will never go away entirely. Freedom of speech, except if you're talking about a purchased product!

I spent 8 years active on a forum without realising that ads were being blocked there. Went back one day on a brand new browser install and it looked so strange.

My web interface is "ad-free", that's all that matters. I tolerate them for faucets tho..

why are you against adds? its not capitalist to advertise products? i would not mind adds at all. it only becomes a problem when it is the only source of income.

My last faucet experience was about 10 years ago. I was getting 0.01 BTC if I remember right. Seemed like such a waste of time - only one cent per "click and wait"...
Those were micro-payments.
Later, spending those were costly. Hours to be included...
