The year zero of our epoch is the year 1981. 45 years ago. 1981 lies in the middle between 1955 and 2007.
1955 the TV screen had taken over much of the world. In 2007 the iPhone came along, which was the second massive step.
So I took the liberty of placing year zero in 1981 between the two. In 1955 the screen started being everywhere, In 2007 we stopped going anywhere without taking the screen along.
Coincidence that everything became kinda ugly, artificial and gay right about that time, and that the 80s were essentially a decade of Halloween? Maybe.
But one thing is undeniable:
Nothing defines our time like the thing we tend to overlook, even though it us staring us right in the face.

But it looks like the screen was just the window to a new world we are about to enter. The door is being built as we speak.
I don't think there will be a more important decision to make for every single one of as than the decision to enter or stay out.
i think that unless the "good" door is better and more convenient everyone will choose the convenient bad door
