The entire case for statism rests on the idea that in order to have rights and rules you need someone who has the privilege to violate those rights and who is above the rules.
This is, of course, absurd. The entire point of rights and rules is that they are the same for everyone. If someone (gov) has the privilege to violate them without repercussions, you might as well have none.
And this gigantic absurdity isn't even the biggest problem with the entire premise:
No statist can answer the very simple question what exactly it is that can only be achieved with privileges?
Why on earth would it be impossible to protect and enforce rights and rules without the privilege of violating rights and rules?
