So @852 but for YouTube. A true Pay Per View... My friend's videos keep getting demonetized on YouTube for no reason at all. Brave/BAT has helped him recoup some costs, but what if you paid $0.01 or less for every time you watched your fav creator? @4

But the "tube" part is the video reference. As in, watching the tube. YouTwetch is what we're already doing ;)
True... Crazy how the concept of watching something on the "Tube" has almost become a distant memory. I wonder if youngsters even know that's where YouTube is derived from. Like a floppy disk being the symbol for Save.
Sad to say that I can confirm both, teenage daughter only knows it as save icon. And the tube is YouTube, they've never questioned the source of the name. Le sigh
