@852 Can I humbly request an ignore list, just like the follow list but instead it would automatically hide posts from them from my point of view? For reply chains containing an ignored user I imagine the post being replaced with <click to unhide>.

there's a couple I'm not interested in looking at either, but ignore lists tend to create thoughtbubbles, and you see how well that's going on twitter
I agree with your sentiment, however taking that to its logical conclusion, so does the following list. Which is actually much more a bubble creator. I.e I ask for exclusive, everyone except those I don't like vs inclusive only those I agree with.
Which is why Latest should be default instead
Oh agree, everything seen by default but I do think people should have at least the choice what they see, it is not up to others to determine for them what they can or can't consume. With that in mind I still think an ignore list is an important feature.
