Social networks should be places where people can interact, build connections, and create meaningful relationships — both personal and professional.
But nowadays, very few platforms truly hold these values. Many impose heavy restrictions on users who don’t align with what they call “regulations.”
Honestly, I often feel trapped on these platforms because real freedom of speech doesn’t exist — even though it’s constantly promoted. Sooner or later, you realize it’s not entirely true.
Take X as an example. Musk talks a lot about free speech, yet accounts are still suspended daily, leaving users excluded in what clearly feels like censorship.
I’ve been active on Treechat for almost 3 days now, and so far, so good. I hope it stays that way — because as a builder, I value peace and the freedom to share what truly matters.
