Does someone know if this fruit is edible?
The Internet answers confuse me.
When questioned "Is passiflora caerulea edible?", the answer is
"Yes, the ripened fruit of Passiflora caerulea (blue passionflower) is edible, but it's known for having a bland flavor and a large number of seeds. While the pulp is safe to eat, it's not particularly tasty when raw and is often used in jams, jellies, or desserts."
When questioned "Is passiflora caerulea poisonous?" the answer is
Yes, Passiflora caerulea, commonly known as blue passionflower, is considered poisonous, particularly its leaves and unripe fruit. These parts contain cyanogenic glycosides, which can release cyanide when ingested.
Should I wait until the fruits detach from the vine and fall to the ground to be sure?

I eat almost everything but honestly i don't know for sure.
The rule is always if you are not sure don't eat it.
I guess I am going to pass the cup for this one as a "Cyanide poisoning" could progress fast. !flux
I ate a few of them (not more then 2 per day) and take only the ones that fell of just to be sure they ripened enough.
They taste somehow like blackberries but not so sweet. I admit I prefer the other type of passion fruits but I will consume also these ones.
