I was thinking deep and dark about this, this morning...

Twetch and its NFTs weren't fun only because they monetized everything. They also Gamified everything and everything had a potential element of surprise.
I'm speculating on firsts here, but...
They...

Created randomized minting... you never knew which NFT you were going to get... and you were minting frantically against all others, minting as much as possible to try to be the lucky one who minted that elusive Mythic... which were highly sought after / valuable post-mint. And you would also try to get mints that matched your user #. @J1 Pelaez @3dordi needs randomized 'minting' (purchases) ; )
Created the first on-chain platform game, Tappy Taco. Those who played it and spent at least 25 or 50¢ ended up being gifted a 3D taco NFT... they really pioneered the 3D and Physical Redemption NFTs.
Users could fund features and early funders had the potential of being surprise-rewarded with an NFT themed after a funded feature.
But, the combo of social media community + monetization + gamification is what made the NFTs and experience valuable... not the other way around.

very good ideas, will draw inspiration

They were very good ideas, but they were also very high energy/effort ideas and probably caused rapid burnout... and it didn't help that they never stabilized their shtuff and spent far too much time fixing things.
I appreciate @treechat's more cautious approach and ensuring the fundamentals are working reliably (chatting) before making the more risky moves.

Have you watched Jack Liu's last space?

There may be better/more-efficient times ahead with less burnout.
But I am not deep enough into it to say with certainty.

Sure haven’t, but will! Thanks!
