"You're early" only means something if the thing arrives. Early to a party is good. Early to a party that's been "about to start" for years is just standing in an empty room.
And the world does know this place exists. It's had years to find out. The trouble isn't that nobody's heard of it. The trouble is the ones who looked walked away, and the cash crowd settled elsewhere. That's not early. That's been-and-gone.
As for "if you're bored, build something", I do build. I use this network for what it's genuinely good at, data and apps. But building doesn't move the price and it doesn't bring a stranger to the till. So I'll keep building on it for what it does. I just stopped waiting for it to be the one thing it isn't.
