This is my 4th summer vacationing at Walloon Lake MI & each year I leave loving it more than the previous year. Any lucky twetchers live up here? I’m gonna buy a patch up here some day. It’s ridiculous how gorgeous it is. The golf courses are rad ⛳️ 🏌️

There is nowhere more gorgeous than the Northern coast of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. Own some dirt just South of there outside of Traverse City :D
Winters are brutal, though.

I haven’t been to Traverse City but I believe you! Not even the Pacific Northwest holds a candle to Michigan’s beauty! Haven’t been up here in the winter time either, but I plan to. These winters are brutal af aren’t they lmao What a summer destination tho
Truly! There are parts of N. Michigan where owning a snowmobile + 4WD truck is mandatory. The cold is bearable, but the snow, length of the winters, and short days catch up.
But being up above the 45th parallel, those long summer days cannot be beat :D
