Recently I have been judged for publicly saying I hold privacy coins.
I'm going to explain why.
So here goes.

I don't hold privacy coins because I'm a criminal or because I have something to hide.
It's because I am fearful, fearful of a day when my only choice to transact is with CBCD's. I've been treated like an outcast in society due to some choices I made during the pandemic, and after all the problems my mates are having due to them choosing different to me I think to myself thank fuck for that.
I had to explain to my young children why we weren't allowed inside the restaurant to eat and why we had to eat outside on a cold winters evening.
Like second class citizens.
Just because I didn't have a vaccine passport.
So what CBDC score do you think an unvaxxed, conspiracy theorist is going to have? I'll be lucky if I'm allowed to buy a load of bread for my family.
It's something else to fall back on if we end up with a tyrannical system.
You get the point, I'm not going to babble on any more.
If that makes me a fake BSVer then so be it.
I call it a Dad trying to see every possible option to protect his family and trying to do the best for any possible future situations.

you don't owe allegiance to any money. you should use it if it's useful andor interesting to you. sorry you were treated as a second class citizen. that was a crime.

Fuck, I haven't installed the app yet and hit enter cause I am used too it^^. So again, I think there will be a usecase for monero and similar projects, at least as long as there will be illegal drugs and other areas which most of use do not want the rest of society to know. Either due to some law forbidding drug xyz or because we are ashamed (porn or stuff like that). In my opinion there will always be a demand for privacy coins which will be automatically met by a corresponding supply. Maxis don't get it, because they are extremists by definition.
I hold privacy coins also.
I always say don't hold you money on 1 thing, one 1 place or 1 investment.
The world is complex, we need to try to to have an answer for that.
I am not smarter than others ,just older and grew up with a grandfather who survived concentration camp.
He did not talk much about the camp but showed me how to survive.
