We dug a well. 380 feet deep and put a whole system of pipes and sprinklers so I can keep everything watered.

Yes, the shade!! I stand under one of them on hot summer afternoons and think “I grew this shade!! I could stay here all afternoon no matter the temperature.” And I try and get a tree over each watering trough for the animals.
