Mr Moist,
A suggestion (I'm full of them).
Meme creation in Twetch is great, but here is an idea which I think would be better. In a nut-shell you would kill the game.

As times goes by, people inevitably think of the same idea twice. When the content is limited it is more likely to happen.
If I create a meme, and in the future someone uses my meme it would be excellent to gain value from it.

Currently it costs approx 10c to create a meme. The meme consists of a photo, and two, to three, to multiple text inputs.
If I pay 10c to create a meme with picture "A" with the text "hi" and "there"...

the Bitcoin network.
As a result the reward for memes goes to the creator of the meme (across vast spaces of time).
@1708 has suggested that people associate things to Bitcoin addresses, rather than protocol prefixes because of collisions and..
having to use a central party to decide what is what.
In this way, each new meme template (picture + where text goes) is created as an independent Bitcoin address.
So that people can first of all upload pictures, which can be used to create..
and someone happens to think of the same combination there should be a way for the user to rather select the existing meme (which is the exact same as what they though of creating), but to re-post this it will not take 10c as it is already on

with them as they are used (as a template with new text) or reused as a final meme (template + text).
This way there is likely less re-uploading of the same meme template.
Less re-uploading of the same text associated with the template.
will be used more than others. So people may gravitate to the same image to start their meme from.
What would happen is that at the end of the day the most used templates which are Bitcoin addresses, would have the most transactions associated..
memes (templates) and then populate the templates with different text. This way there is no collision as multiple people can upload multiple images which are practically the same, BUT the difference is even if they are the same, some templates..
The first users who gain traction could receive benefit.
Each meme reuse gains a benefit.
Content is not as often reproduced.
Naturally this can all then be indexed with Bitcoin.
Note:
I haven't a clue how to do this, it is merely an idea which could be interesting to really spread memes the right way!
@CarpeDonktum
could link in very nicely with this too. Where meme creators receive value!
