Definitely like “connect”. Kinda like connecting a block or link or magnet. I imagine a “click” sound as the connection is made 😂

Think in real world terms. To connect with someone sounds better than to follow. To have many connections, sounds better than following many. The term connect carries more respect and has a better vibe than the usual follow found on that Twitter trash.

I think they use connect on linkedin as well

Follow = Connect = Total Connected
Unollow = Disconnect
Followers = Connections

The people you follow could be listed as your Connected. And people who follow you could be your Connections.

I'm sure we could iron out the details
