So again, I think there will be a usecase for monero and similar projects, at least as long as there will be illegal drugs and other areas which most of use do not want the rest of society to know. Either due to some law forbidding drug xyz or because we are ashamed (porn or stuff like that). In my opinion there will always be a demand for privacy coins which will be automatically met by a corresponding supply. Maxis don't get it, because they are extremists by definition.
