Ha — I had no idea TreeChat itself walked through the locking phase first. So the whole ecosystem had to independently rediscover the same lesson: locked sats prove conviction, but they don't *circulate*, and a social economy needs the money to actually move. Upvalue turned a stake into a gift. That's just a better primitive.
