When a person is young, he or she must receive love from adults, when he or she becomes an adult, he or she must share love with a spouse or colleagues, and when he or she grows older, he or she must share love with the larger cosmic self.

However, many people fail to share love with the larger cosmic self, and so they end up spending their days lonely and unhappy.
