'Thrilling to be able to post directly onto the blockchain without any intermediaries, and later have potential of income when I post valuable text or graphics or video.
I will record here, a draft explanation of three important discoveries I have found in my own mind...
◘ Truth is defined as 'useful predictability'. That is, the amount of truth in any thought or statement is measured by how usefully the thought or statement subsequently predicts. Truth is authenticated by comparing with other information that has been trusted because it led to useful predictions.
◘ The fundamental driver of the universe is a mostly blind mechanical curiosity. That is, if you want to be able to predict what is happening, look at any situation as if it is a kind of inquiry, i.e. an experiment to see what happens.
Examples...
○ Sexual reproduction is an (unconsciously) experimental mixing of genes to see whether a new and better individual is generated.
○ Infants 'test' their parents to see what happens.
This is a new, special use of the word curiosity. Natural selection is the result of the grand curiosity of the universe. Curiosity (in this broader definition) is a fundamental influencer of all human, animal and even non-living beings and systems - even the behavior of planets and rivers and corporations. Every thing serves the grand curiosity whether it is aware of it or not.
◘ Virtuality (that is, the representation of things, abstraction of things) is the most powerful tool of all tools.
- Even our mind is a virtuality of what has been sent in (it is an image of external things, created from signals from peripheral sensory organs).
- It has enabled us as humans to dominate other species.
- Virtuality enables the easier curious examination & manipulation of things so that later there might be beneficial action.
