3) I only bring this up, in that I think that Boost and 21e8 are invaluable for identifying network members and creating more revenue for the infrastructure, but they do not seem to be something that will by their nature create honest signals.

It's not about the contents of the original message being "honest", it's about the signal conveying the weight of itself, like the carat of a diamond
I think my comments about the honesty and signaling is in regards to Daniels comparison with antlers. Antlers are an honest signal, both to ingroup and outgroup.
This is where 21e8 goes beyond Boost as attestations along multiple dimensions become part of an evolving graph / the data itself
