In 1937, published by A.W. Bruna & Sons Publishing Co. N.V. in Utrecht, Dr. Marie Carmichel Stopes writes her findings about high frequency as follows (page 200):

“Now I would like to give a hint here which, I believe, has not yet been given by anyone. It is the result of a device personally used and tested by me in practice for sixteen years.

An absolutely safe electrical apparatus has been constructed, by means of which it seems possible to bring electrical charges directly into the human body, without placing current on the diseased or sensitive area.

I have repeatedly found that this device is capable of killing bacteria of various diseases and even promoting the growth of healthy tissues, while eliminating fatigue and ‘illnesses’ caused by various toxins.

This device conducts an electrical current along very high wavelengths. These are the currents generally called ‘high frequency.’

Now I must urgently warn my readers not to assume that every ‘high-frequency apparatus’ that is commercially available is suitable for all kinds of ailments. Great disappointments have occurred, and much harm has been done to the honorable name of true scientific and healing mechanical instruments, because the public has been misled scientifically by various firms offering devices for a few guilders, confused with properly constructed apparatus.

Physicians have (very inexplicably perhaps, but indeed so) turned away from the benefit they could have obtained through such a wonderfully simple healing instrument, which science has placed in their hands. This I regret first of all for the benefit that the public could have had, for the healing power of this simple device is so great that it would astonish the generation not yet aware of the many wonders electricity can bring about.

The great work of Dr. M’Donagh on the nature of diseases and his statement that we must be willing to see disease as a disruption of electrons finds practical application in this device, which recharges protein particles with electrons and thus heals diseases not only symptomatically but fundamentally.

My personal experiences with this form of electricity are so convincing that I believe humanity must know about this simple apparatus, which saved my own life from mastoiditis (middle ear inflammation) when doctors wanted to operate on my child. It cured a hidden septic focus within a week, and in the case of a female physician it resolved complaints that had existed for three months, and many other such wonders.

The case of mastoiditis sufficiently proves that this is not a ‘subjective’ but a real healing. It would satisfy me to see such an apparatus in the home of intelligent people, but I fear my medical friends would be seriously disappointed about the possibility that their patients could be safely healed.”

You see here an honest, unbiased writing of a world-famous physician, whereas in the book mentioned above there is praise in advance from no fewer than three practicing physicians from The Hague.
