I was introduced to bsv in early early handcash days (back when the tokens were called Duros) then relayx, then twetch.
the main pull was how fast transactions were and how easily you could send bsv to other users with no stupidly high fees. the other pull was twetch mint days, they were so fun.

Thank you for finding this post from a year ago! Lol
Your words seem like they're in the past tense, but are you still excited about BSV?
Also, what do you think about the fact that so many people choose other chains because they have "faster transactions and lower gas costs"? Do you think BSV has a winning chance?
This is just a question out of curiosity, so I hope you won't be offended.
it was on my feed sonim assuming someone commented on it or upvalued.
I wouldn't say im excited about BSV as a currency because it will take a very long time to actually become mass adopted and implemented into real world applications like shopping, paying bills etc. but the people building amd creating within the bsv space yes theres a lot of interesting things being developed and created all the time.
also I think you have it wrong a little bit. in my opinion, people choose other chains because they dont care about tech or utility and only want to make money.
btc will never be peer to peer, it will only ever be a store of value. people living in third world countries cant afford to buy or use btc, so in my opinion that makes it have little to 0 value despite being priced at £65,000.
1 bsv is priced at £12 (1 btc = 5400 bsv)
but 1 bsv has infinitely more uses than 1 btc therefore I believe that 1 bsv has much more value than 1 btc
look at ordinals on btc for example.
btc ordinals:
• expensive to mint
• low quality
• fees to transfer
• rarely have utility
• very few wallet options
bsv ordinals
• very cheap to mint
• very high quality
• almost 0 fees to transfer
• a lot have utility
• many wallet options with varying features in each
also look at treechat.
you could never have this on btc. it would never work, be incredibly expensive, and incredibly slow.
