@24 The only truly successful aggregator of good content is that which is vetted by a network of people with similar tastes. So BoostPoW would need Boosts that were not anonymous.

I'm sorry but I disagree on what the best content aggregator would be. If you don't like Boost just don't buy any.
I just don't want you to get false expectations. Best case scenario is that big dogs will successfully boost in the "boost market" and their products will be crap 9 out of 10 times for genpop and 99 out of 100 for connoisseurs.
You don't understand the economics of BoostPoW at scale if you think a normal guy will successfully boost.
My ideas come from what really happened already. People steered away from Big Marketing controlled mediums and adopted networks to filter content.
Whatever happens, Boost is better than what we have now. Today it's very easily for manipulators to control conversations. With Boost people will have think about what they say or risk losing energy.
At scale, BoostPoW is exactly what we have today. I can't believe you can't see that.
What we have now is a system where upvotes are meaningless.
They would not be meaningless if they are upvotes by people you respect and upvotes by known spammers are discarded. No offense, but your system doesn't change anything. Those numbers of false positives are with BigMarketing boosting profitably.
