gm @flatoshi I am the resident conspiracy theorist lover

while I disagree with the earth being flat for many reasons, I love conspiracy discussions....which particular rabbit hole did you find that swayed you?

Gm @Brooz tbh it wasn't a particular video or person it was more that It just made sense. Even though perhaps I didn't want it to being a space nerd at the time.. I'd already read much on evolution and had realised that it was presented as factual in the West but with zero evidence to back it and I found the entire heliocentric model was the same you can make it very complex and mathematically explain it but it doesn't match reality when you can't find curvature and realise gravity can simply be explained by density and buoyancy and perhaps electromagnetism involved too this I found appealed far more to me and resonated as the truth.
I feel evolution and the heliocentric model are both lies propagated on the masses to hide God.

I agree about gravity being explained by density and buoyancy completely...if I drop something it falls to the ground because its heavy...I dont think a force pulls it down....that's why a feather falls slower because its less dense and has less weight.

but there are many arguments as to why the earth isn't flat...such as timezones, star constellations that vary, tides....also if you think the earth is flat, are you suggesting that every other planets is also flat?

I also agree that we had an advanced evolution from outside....entities. humans are way too advanced and advanced much quicker than any other species for it to have occurred naturally.

see, we can agree on some points, which is why I like discussions.

In a vacuum a feather and a ball of lead fall at the exact same speed.

Brooz ·

that's true....dont think I attribute that to gravity though, that's air resistance surely?

Brooz ·

or lack of in the vacuums case

Y ·

Yes. Which makes your point about weight/density absurd. No offense.

Brooz ·

well I hadn't considered a vacuum, but as you brought it up you're right they would fall at the same speed.

but on a day to day basis my point would be valid

Brooz ·

we dont live in vacuum lol

Y ·

There is a possibility that I'm too dense to understand your flat-earth physics.

Brooz ·

I personally dont believe the earth is flat

After someone filmed the sun making a circle above the horizon in antártica, just like it does far north in the opposite season, and Eric "totally not CIA" Dubay was invited to come check it out, but refused, it's kinda difficult to be a flat earther now.

Brooz ·

my counterpoint to his gravity view would be if the earth was a flat disc, 'gravity' would be weaker the further out you went...so the earth must be round for uniformity
