1) I read some twetches about the existence of God. But are those questions relevant? By definition, "faith" implies uncertainty anyway. Otherwise it would be knowledge.

2) So if a believer answers the question whether God exists, the answer should be "yes, I think so, but I am not sure." If an atheist answers the same question "no, I don't think so, but I am not sure" Is the question relevant then?

To convince others, a believer in a thing needs to show proof and evidence. There is none for the existence of God. As you say, it's faith.

I have nothing against it as long as it's not taught to children as Truth or used as a weapon to harm others.
