this was just yet again discussed on Germany television programming so I thought I post it here and produce some TXs :)

Everything was ready to go.. All that work.. And then not go? Makes no sense

perhaps they couldn't afford not to get there. it's a possibility that it was decided to rather fake it. either way it was costly. let's see when we get there next. I'm all for a moonbase before mars base.

I can't imagine it being faked when you are so far with development. I mean, it did not just stop after.. Skylab f.e. was launched in 73.
