3/ For those who don't know, there are 3 competing versions of bitcoin sharing the same chain up to block 478557 (pre-fork) that tie back to the genesis block.

4/ These competing versions of bitcoin are called #forks.

Coincidentally, Elon Musk updated his Twitter profile to read “metaphork” and changed his profile photo to a fork in the road.

Hey, I love this speculation shit. All I've found is u should check out some of the biggest wallets of bsv.. One whale showed up Oct last year, but mid Jan input 40+million. Shrug.

I tried looking at the large addresses but didn't pick out anything directly insightful to this. Probably there's more I just need to learn in doing that type of analysis. @37361 wrote about a dust attack to the richest address and that's pretty trippy

7/ Circling back to the initial reporting that Tesla bought bitcoin Feb 8, 2021, it’s clearly an assumption that Tesla bought BTC.

Outlets such as CNBC/NBC, WSJ, & AP cite the SEC filing and again the 10-K form does not specify which bitcoin.

8/ It’s easy to see why it's assumed the bitcoin purchased was BTC, but it is an assumption.

This is also why the use of the name bitcoin is a contentious topic in the community.

lol wow still took me a minute to get that. Clearly went over my head and I'm carried away in speculation. I still think Elon is very aware in his mockery of cryptos

TSLA has a board of directors. It wouldn't be solely Elon's decision. So he could personally as Elon himself, buy BSV or Doge. But TSLA could have bought BTC based on that he is not the sole decision maker.

Yes, the more I've thought about it I think Tesla bought BTC. There would have to be a lot of secrecy going on within finance/accounting depts and the board like you said. But if we get an exciting plot twist, this is on the record!

I don't know what to make of it myself hence the just throwing it out there. It does say Elon Musk verified account, clicking think will just take you to the MetanetICU Twitter account. Maybe there is an explanation for this...
