I would like to be able to bookmark threads so that I remember to check them later

How do you envision this working practically? Where would bookmarks be stored? A new page?
Thanks for the followup. I am usually accessing from mobile device so for my context one or two button presses maximum to bookmark the thread would be most effective. Perhaps a third icon next to notifications bell and new msgs to access the bookmark list
