So, I completely agree. Mostly.

Yes. We need tools. Yes! Marketing!
No. We need not worry about the "power" of the other coins, because they have no long-term use case other than securities.
We don't effectively need a billion dollar budget, not at first, perhaps, without people driving this idea, driving this new reality. Not without a sound foundation. Otherwise if pushed with a "money first" agenda the potential of this GREAT COIN will collapse like a house of cards and hurt the movement with the incorrect motivation.

We need your sound ideas @SmilaZ. I have one: https://www.onyxmediatech.com/onyx-screen-media/

Here in South Africa are walk in gas stations (we call them petrol stations) with pretty good quality construction and design. And if you checked out that link, those screens are CATCHY. 100% eye-catching.
Here's where your billion dollar marketing budget idea would help!

One advert listing the simple facts (because people want in and out of the shop and generally will avoid lingering about) with an easy website for more information: say, www.bsv.com ? (which I see is taken)

But the main thing....
This is the challenge.
The main thing is to get everyone on board.

As a consumer, and as a service provider, I receive and spend local currency.
How will my world look like if I started accepting and chose to pay with BSV instead?

All that is great, but all we really need is enterprise adoption. Now that Teranode is here there will slowly be some businessesthat adopt the tech out of necessity. My understanding was they were interested prior but the tech wasn't there. Now it is.
Once they on-board, the chain will begin to market itself as others see how well it works compared to anything else in the space.
Thats how the dam breaks. I feel its only a matter of time now. Builders still need to build. But the uses cases were always there. We just needed teranode to fully enable them.

Hey, thanks for that message/reply. I havent been on here for a while. Because i have this app on an older phone with a more eye friendly display (not my active one with app the apps that require a newer system), so happy that treechat works on an older phone though. The new one really messes up my eyes so bad. ANYWAY, while my mind is more elswhere these days, and has a load to solve, I will have a look at your link though. Thanks.
We used to have live spaces all the time on X. Which with a few of the people, the sincere ones, was really nice and useful. I miss that. Sadly some network of people ruined the usefullness, and then it all turned into going in circles with the same things, and circle jerking speakers, not to mention trolls and shills. But before it got ruined I noticed that habing those spaces was inspiring, stirred up the passion for BSV things, knowledge and exchange, and ideas.
Community when good does that!
Since that time (January 2024) i've been saying, we need live spaces on Bitcoin.
I'm sure there was more from your comment to reply to, but now as I'm typing it doesnt let me see your message. 😊 So I might do another reply later, we'll see.

Yeah, to get everyone on board as you say, that should have to require to be offering what CentBee had, my centbee wallet for germany had groceryshopping for example, and so many things. It's clear especially when speaking no common non-technical people, that such daily task options are the most relevant to onboarding people to use bsv as money.
So far, those few of us who have bsv and use it when we can, we have become like stock holders, is what it feels like to me since CentBee started going down. I really wanna know exactly what really sabotaged them.
Marketing becomes more easy when you have useful stuff for daily-do's & deeds to offer. Still i like to talk about these things, amd stirr up the imagination on all aspects about BSV. ...and all sorts in general too.

Okay, so, I checked your link and watched the 2 videos on there. Well, they are good for business, not for customers. So I'm guessing they were also not intended for the customers.
So now, to for example make something like that for making people want to use BSV momey, it would be too much info, too many small details.
