Rehash: Google had no advantage on AOL whatsoever, other than a technology that actually worked WAY better than AOL. And compared to btc, AOL was a fantastic product that actually worked! It just wasn’t as good.

All marketing can do is speed up the process— very important bc our lives are short compared to maximum company and product lives— but it doesn’t change the ultimate outcome.
