thats how it works now, i bet you're seeing notis from a stream you're in ... ill work on making that clearer. send me some messages you're seeing that you think you shouldn't be in a private thread and i can investigate

next time I get some notifications il let them build up

oddly enough though I didnt get this response as a notification, sometimes they work and send me everything sometimes I dont get notifications til I open the app ans check it. could it he that if the app isnt force closed its considered open in the background so I dont get notifications?

its not biggie, like I said the other quality of life updates have really bought a lot more users out of hiding and the activity recently has been massive
